Food// Sweet Sweet Shirokuma

I take it that places like this exist mostly in Asian countries, but for the sake of being super kitsch and I love anything quite kitschy, I am happy to indulge my cousin’s wimps and visited this place, Shirokuma.

Pleasantly surprise with the delicious treats that they served. I am a big fan of green tea anything and everything, so Shirokuma is right up my alley. I ordered Green Tea Parfait, which are technically delicious layers of green tea jelly, Japanese Mochi Balls (sticky rice cake), red beans and topped with green tea ice cream. The surprise win for this dessert is the addition of corn flakes. Weird combo, I know, but surprisingly adds perfect crunchy textures to the ice cream.

For drinks, I ordered Green Tea Latte which was predictable, still good but yes, there’s not much you can do with green tea and milk combo. The bear saying hello on top is super kitschy and cute.
