A Piece of Paris in Melbourne

Bistrot D’orsay

184 Collins Street, Melbourne

(03) 9654 6498

Walked past this restaurant so many times, but never had a chance to sneak in. Finally, with a special occasion to celebrate, decided to try Bistrot D’orsay and the result were so much happiness in one sitting…

Confir Duck Leg, Israeli couscous salad, sour cherry vinaigrette

Special du jour: Baby Snapper

Seafood Linguini

Crispy Skin Tasmanian Salmon Fillet, niçoise salad, salsa verda

And for all of you sweet lovers…

Pear Tarte Tatin, roaster almond ice cream

Vanilla Crème Brûlée

I want to apologize that I didn’t take interior photos, as I was too engrossed in all the delicious foods. The restaurant reminds me of a Parisian’s hole in a wall bistro on Rue de Montorgueil somewhere. They have such good selections of wine too…

Amazing restaurant with a cool, Parisian atmosphere…
